Shuuei has grown in the field of cut vegetables. Many people think that cut vegetables are simply cutting ingredients. However, it is is very profound and its technique has been evolving every day. Even when it comes to cleaning and sterilizing methods, Shuuei pays utmost attention to the safety and the health of both our employees engaged in the work and our customers.
In addition, as a company involved in the manufacturing industry, we consider effects of human health and environmental issues that cause abnormal weather as the first priority, and we are constantly seeking ways to do better. ABOUT OUR COMPANY
The new coronavirus infection that spread in FY2020 has completely changed the daily lives of consumers. The way we eat at home has also changed dramatically. Shuuei has been making changes in the field of cut vegetables since we started our business in 2005. Among them, we have made consideration of environmental issues that are causing abnormal weather and health issues for consumers our top priority, and we are constantly seeking ways to do what we can to help.
In recent years, in light of the current situation where more and more people are choosing organic products because of their commitment to the food they eat every day, Shuuei has also increased its supply of organic cut vegetables. In particular, in cleaning and sterilization, we have adopted a proprietary method that we have developed with particular care to provide organic cut vegetables that are safer and more secure.
Environmental issues are an inseparable part of the manufacturing process. For this reason, Shuuei is not only committed to the SDGs, but also to Science Based Targets (SBT), which is one of the indicators for greenhouse gas emission reduction targets set by companies, consistent with the standards required by the Paris Agreement. We also consider the environmental impact of packaging, and are constantly seeking and considering new packaging materials.
We believe that consumers will become increasingly conscious of environmental and health issues in the future.
